How do you adjust the legs to suit a render build of 12mm
RE: 42-RE-01 Answered on: 21-Feb-08
The Trim comes set at an angle of 75` when that is placed against the corner it will give a 12mm build.
The tighter you push the trim against the corner the less render build you will get, when pushed hard against the corner at 90` you will get a 4mm render build.

The unique feature of this trim is the ability of the legs to adjust to any angle.
Do you have a product for where the door frame finishes flush with the brick work, to make the corner neat/protect the aluminium door frame?
Thanks Myles

Yes Myles it is called the Render Tearaway L-Bead it is designed to give a finished edge where different substrates meet the product code is
42-RTLB-2.5
have a look in the heading Products and then Render Trade to see a graphic.

I've used the 135 degree angle and have a specific job that requires alot of different sections. I was wondering if you did an angle that is an obtuse angle like the 135 degree but opposite, say like a 225 degree?? if not how many times do these angles bend before they snap??
RE: new angles Answered on: 20-Aug-08
Hi Sabius,
We have an angle in our plasterboard range that would suit the code is 52-PFLEX. it has circles instead of triangles which is not Ideal but if its bedded in with a patch render it will be ok.
The angle is totally flexible and will adjust to any angle, it is UV stabilised and made from the same compound as the render range.
The render build is 2.5mm if you needed more you would have to use a thicker bead of render when you install it.
Good luck
would bagged floor tile adhesive work for adhereing ext render angles instead of eg hard patch have large amount left over from recent site.
RE: proper adhesion Answered on: 19-Jan-09
It would depend on what render will be used there could be an additive in the tile adhesive that will react with the render.
As a general rule it is best to apply the angles with a patch type render from the same manufacturer of render you will use to render the wall.
please explain best method for putting render trims to external brickwork
